As the snow starts to fly, the 2011 race season comes to an end. The home built engine lasted all year and proved to be strong, constant setup changes dialed in the car to give us a few wins. We had no intention of racing for points this year, but at the last race in Farley we found ourselves in a tight battle with Andy Eckrich and Charlie McKenna for the top 3 spots. We found ourselves in leading the season championship feature. While we were in the lead both Eckrich and McKenna had to pull in the pits to repair their cars. While leading, about halfway through the race the right front shock broke on our car. We tried changing the shock as fast as we could but it put us a couple laps down. We ended the race third place in points.
We have started working on the car already for next season. We are hoping to pick up where we left off and racing as much as time allows. We are looking forward to making our car faster and winning some more races. We hope to see you all at the races! Have a great off season and be sure to visit our sponsors page. Thanks to you and all our fans and sponsors for your support. |
